Greetings, fellow DMusic-ers. Hope all is well with you and your, er, whatever. Black Mike Silver will be jamming a week from this Sunday in celebration of Thanksgiving and all things loud/heavy.
I have more recordings from our last rehearsal back in Sept (on my birthday, wouldja believe), when I find some inspiration I will upload a few new tunes for your listening pleasure - if you don't like it, welp, it's free, so don't complain to me.
I hope to add some more things like maybe an equipment list and some photos of our gear.

A note about these recordings...
I am not a professional musician, so please excuse the quality. There are two types of recordings on this site, one group is from a Sony minidisc recording, and some of these are a little "raw" (distored a little, maybe the vocals aren't loud enough, etc.)
The other style, the most recent recordings we've done, were recorded using a Fostex 6-track digital recorder, mostly just straight mics or inputs directly into the recorder. These sound better in my opinion. But, I will never claim to be the best "sound engineer," I do it because I want to listen to recordings of our band later, so the quality of the recordings isn't going to sound 100% professional. I am first and foremost a guitarist and reluctant singer.

Greetings from BLACK MIKE SILVER (that's a band, not a dude...as in, "I like Led Zeppelin, he's pretty cool")! We are a "power trio" based out of Tennessee and Ohio. Our sound consists of The Rolling Stones meets Cream meets general noise and weird sounds.
We do mostly cover songs for now, but original songs and "jams" are being created! Search Dmusic for "Black Mike Silver". Our recordings of our rehearsals are here only as an example of our sound; we do not sell CDs with covers of other artists. These cover recordings are free and please do not try to capitalize from our cover songs.
